Oversized Anatolian Oushak

A truly exceptional vintage piece, handwoven in Anatolia, Turkey in the 1950s. At an impressive 416cm x 315cm, this rare oversized Oushak has been naturally softened by more than 70 years of age, revealing a beautifully muted palette of warm ivory, parchment and faded lavender-grey.

The intricate central medallion and ornate border remain delicately visible beneath the time-worn finish, giving the rug the quiet, understated character that can only be achieved through genuine age.

Its remarkable scale makes this a true hero piece, designed to anchor a large living space, dining room or open-plan interior. One-of-a-kind and increasingly difficult to source in dimensions of this size and condition.
