Oversized Anatolian Oushak

Part of our Villa Walk Collection, Villa Bleu is an exceptional 1950s vintage Oushak, handwoven in Turkey and selected for its remarkable scale, beautifully aged palette and refined ornamental detailing.

Dating back more than 70 years, its original colours have softened into an extraordinary composition of aged parchment, antique ivory, muted sand and timeworn powder blue, with deeper indigo detailing appearing delicately throughout.

Its grand central medallion is framed by an elaborate floral border, beautifully faded and softened with age. The restrained palette and gently worn surface give the piece an almost fresco-like quality, quiet, romantic and incredibly sophisticated.

A rare, one-of-a-kind statement piece with the scale and presence to anchor a significant interior, Villa Bleu feels equally at home within a contemporary space or layered amongst collected antiques and European-inspired furnishings.
